The Star or Energy labelling is based on Standards that prescribe limits on energy performance (usually maximum use or minimum efficiency) based on specified test protocols.
Energy Efficiency Ratio
Energy efficiency ratio is the ratio marked under the star rating EER is calculated by dividing a chillers’ cooling capacity (kW) by its power input (Watts) at full load conditions. The higher the EER, the more efficient the unit which means the product is more efficient in energy saving.
