The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers issued the Textiles — Polypropylene (PP) Woven, Laminated, Block Bottom Valve Sacks for Packaging of 50 kg Cement (Quality Control) Order, 2023, on 11th June 2025, with implementation initially set for 6th September 2025. However, recently, a second amendment on 4th September 2025 has been notified, which has extended the implementation date to 6th January 2026. This amendment is as per section 16, read with section 17 and sub-section (3) of Section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016).
